New Automation Triggers for Advanced Email Workflows

Mailercloud has introduced new automation rule triggers, giving you more precise control over when emails are sent in your advanced automation workflows. You can now trigger emails based on how contacts interact — or don't interact — with your campaigns.
Key highlights:
  • Opened — trigger the next email when a contact opens a specific campaign or any campaign; send immediately or after a custom delay
  • Not Opened — trigger a follow-up when a contact hasn't opened an email, with a default 1-day wait or a custom delay
  • Clicked — trigger based on a link click in a specific campaign, any campaign, or a specific link within an email
  • Not Clicked — trigger when a contact opens an email but doesn't click any links
  • All — send the next email to all contacts regardless of their interaction
These triggers are available when building or editing advanced automation workflows under Automations → Create Automation → Advanced.
